| Brian W. Mead | President Brian is President of the DHI Gold Coast Chapter, started in the Door & Hardware Industry in 1974 as an Apprentice Carpenter with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters in New York City working for a Sub-Contractor installing Door Hardware. He presently works for Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies' Security & Safety Consultants of Florida as a Territory Manager. Brian is a Master Locksmith, Journeyman Carpenter, and Intertek Certified Fire Door Assembly Inspector. In addition to serving as the DHI Gold Coast Chapter President, he is a member of (CSI) The Construction Specification Institute, (NFPA) The National Fire Protection Association and (ASIS) American Society for Industrial Security. |

| Gene Podell | Vice-President Gene is Vice- President of the DHI Gold Coast Chapter and started in MA. 21 years ago as an apprentice in the Carpenters Union working as a door installer. Gene came to Florida 8 years ago and started working for Lotspeich Co. of Florida, Inc. as an installer. Tom Harrison,Gene's mentor, brought him into the office as an estimator.
